ABOUT

Lyz Abalos, CMT
My passion for massage therapy and bodywork stems from my love for movement. My late Dad inspired me to become a massage therapist when he went through his challenges with a chronic illness that limited his ability to be independent with his mobility. Massage Therapy and exercise were modalities that had a huge impact on him feeling strong and confident with his body.

I am a CAMTC certified with 6+ years experience. I completed my program from San Francisco School of Massage & Bodywork and also hold a B.S. in Health Science from Hawai'i Pacific University. I have a deep love for continuously learning about the body and human performance to stay updated with the latest studies and research to help my clients heal from their ailments and conditions.

I worked alongside top notch Chiropractors, Physical Therapists and Accupuncturist in San Francisco throughout my career and I was a massage therapist for the 2019 U.S. Open Golf tournament at Pebble Beach. I combine different modalities ranging from Deep Tissue, Myofascial Release, Triggerpoint, Cupping Therapy, Neuromuscular facilitation, and swedish techniques and tailor my treatment plans depending on what the client needs. I put my clients needs and comfort as a priority always.
